Well done - two great shots, something I tend to avoid. Birds in flight are so difficult to catch. I think I prefer V1 but both are good.

Neil, I've tried this and know from experience -- this is so difficult.
You did a great job here. I like them both but V1 just edges out V2 for my vote.

2 good captures. Am always trying to get the oystercatchers in flight, usually blurred mess. Moira

Definitely V1 for me, having tried and failed many times I know how difficult in flight shots are, well done.

Two nice bird image, Neil! I prefer the 2nd image, only because of its colour, and how it contrasts with the colour of the surrounding scenery! Nicely captured!

Cheers

Two great inflight shots, Neil. Both excellent captures but its V1 , just, for me. The colour of the sea in the b/g really enhances the detail of the gull's wings. Smile Well done
Take care,
Pauline
