Must be quite a high carpark for you to get up there Jeanie :o)

Like you say, a wee bit of sunlight over the land would have been nice but I like the composition of this one.

24 Apr 2006 9:34AM
great lines in the sky and on the ground both make great image, click

You are a mater babe. Great shot and i love the sky. The foreground is just enough to enhance and help the eye focus on the lake.

LOL - So I guess you wouldn't like getting into work at 6am then, like I do? It does give me a chance to stop by certain spots as the sun rises though. See now nice it can be in the morning? And all that fresh air too. The birds singing.... Beautiful view by the way!

Thanks Charlene, Jeff, Steve and Patrick.

Steve, you had to be wide awake at some point of the day I guess : )

Patrick - we used to do a 6am start but the shift patterns were changed to 7am starts when the EU said 6am was not human! : )

Lighter up there than when I took mine. Like the sky Jeanie and you found one of the few rocks not around the trig point it would seem. Well captured

I wasn't quite the dramatic sunrise we were hoping for was it! Still you've made good use of what was available here Jeanie. Nice subtle light in the sky picking out the distant fells. Just as I remember it.
