Gushing Godrevy

By MrsS
Hi All - hope you are enjoying the balmy weather - apparently we need to make the most of it - forecast for Bank Holiday Weekend is NOT good, TYPICAL!!!

Anyway, I'm sure you are suffering from withdrawal symptoms as you haven't seen a lighthouse shot from me in - - - ooooooohhhhhh - - DAYS!

- I am intentionally keeping you waiting for another glimpse of the Queen of New Brighton, so that you'll enjoy it better when she next makes an appearance! Grin

So you'll just have to put up with one from somewhere else! Wink

Last Years Hols again, this time a really brill afternoon at Godrevy (well it was until my polariser got soaked for the 50th time and I took my toys in!)

Thanks for taking time to call in - hope you like it Smile

Oh, and why not opt for LARGE, and catch a bit of sea-spray? Wink

Fran x

Looking fab Fran, went to Godrevy hoping for some conditions like this but to no avail. Perhaps next time. Fantastic place though and it's hard to believe that you have some metres of rock under those waves.

I know what you mean about the rock, Ange - we went earlier than this before the tide came in and couldn't believe the difference Smile

Ooo.. love the comp of this Fran, - great the way the breaking waves lead the eye in to the lighthhouse and that you've given so much space to that fabulous sky. A real cracker.

UNbelievably good shot.....Kind of looks like you took your life into your own hands though, so close to crashing waves over rugged rocks!!

Thanks Jerry - - TBH I did get a teeny bit worried, as I had perched myself on a rock which I thought was too high for the incomig tide to reach - and then discovered it wasn't! Wink

Didn't get to wet tho' Grin
