Well crop and nice background! Would be nice if his shirt is of a contrasting colour, I think! Have you tried this shot in B&W?

Love the background colour, think your version is grand (compared to the modified one I mean). I like the off set crop - this isnt something I ever do successfully so well done! (Agree - very similar to Sugarbird's stuff). S

The colors, vividness of expression and colors are beautiful. Like the placement of the subject in the frame.

Very nice - colours and sharpness especially - my only comment (because I've done it myself) is - get him to iron his t-shirt....why do men always need such tidying up? Wink

I like the b&w version too...

Thanks for your comments. When I took the picture I knew it was going to "look like" a Jill's picture (sugarbird). In any case, as a photographer, I have still a long way to go before taking pictures like her. Thanks for the modified versions. Tony, the B&W is really beautiful. Thanks. Alejandro.

Great portrait and composition. Agree about the Sugarbird comparison! The b/w is excellent too.

A really good portrait, don't worry about the comparasons, all I do is tell people to stand against walls, nothing new in that LOL
I have actually only been taking pictures for about 7 months seriously, so I am sure you are probably more experienced than me anyway, I am just very fortunate to have great models here in Africa who are so happy to have their pics taken...
take care
lol

Excellent self portrait - I've done a different version for you - not as good as the original though!

Must have done something right if people (including me) mistook this for Sugarbird's work.

Good pic - if you want to pick up on sugarbirds excellence - take a look at the angle she shoots from Smile
