Half Dome, Yosemite

By matt5791
Shortly after I took this shot I was approached by a Black bear and cub.....Its amazing how quickly you can pack up even a bulky 5x7" large format camera. Of course now I'm kicking myself as potentially there was the opportuinity to shoot Half dome and Bear in the foreground on Large Format, but as it was within quite close proximity alredy when I noticed it (like 50 feet) I just got out of there!

Taken in October last year, from a view point near Glacia Point. I was going to wear my false beared and try and do an Ansel Adams impersonation.

This is a direct scan from the neg and the scanner seems to produce some streaking in the sky which I couldnt be bothered to sort out - It will print great.
