Half Dome in Merced

By TheShipsMast
Taken from "Photographers Bridge" a very popular spot in Yosemite, if you can find room on the bridge at sunset you are doing well. The bridge has been washed away four times in the past 100 years, and the last rebuild included a "sidewalk" which was 4' wider than all the others in the park to accomodate tripods! A nice touch I thought.

This is the ever present Half Dome relflected in the Merced river about 15 minutes before the sun set.

The ripples were caused by fish leaping out of the water to eat the flys and insects, which was just nice timing Smile

C&C's always welcome as always, thanks for looking..

You've been on the same roadtrip as me I see. Great set of shots. Yosemete is rather spectacular isn't it.
