Halfway Down The Hill

Clovelly. Somewhere to stop and take in the view on the way down to the harbour… or on the way back up, somewhere to sit, gasping till you get your breath back before tackling the next leg.
The version is a little sign hung across a private alley way. There was another saying ‘To The Beach’ but pointing back up the hill. If you live in a tourist spot like this I guess you need to develop a sense of humour.

Unusual pov, the top fence chain link just skimming the horizon, the looong bench, and I likes it, Eric. Great control of texture and light. I have thought a few times now, that you could do wonderful stylish images for a story book, and now I am thinking it again.
