Hallgrimskirkja at Midnight

By TheURL
I found an unlocked door on the top floor of the Central Plaza hotel allowing me access to a maintenance balcony, where I took this shot last weekend. (Ignore the EXIF date - the camera clock was wrong!). If anyone is interested in volcanos the 7 minute video I spent 6 hours making yesterday is doing well at almost 1000 views in 12 hours. Apologies for the shameless plug but its here.

Amazing shot that really shows just how bright it is at midnight.

The church clock seems wrong too..

It might have been a bit earlier - maybe some artistic license! Not that it matters when its 24 hour daylight Smile

That was a fabulous video Simon. That red, bubbling lava with its streams pouring out of the volcano was amazing. Looks like you have a tough climb up to the viewpoint but it was well worth the effort. What a fabulous experience.

Looking forward to more images now. 😉

Take care

Another click for the video from me, cheers Simon excellent work, and an interesting image of the church at sometime around mid night.
