This at first glance appears to be a human skull, but no.....hundreds similar to it can be discovered in many gardens at this time of year.

This and my other versions here, are the dried seed heads of the common Snapdragon intriguing were they the plant was thought to cure ills and fevers, they were also used in witchcraft....

You can easily see why.

My DIY Macro lens does it again.
