A country road at the top of Ham Hill in Gloucestershire, taken yesterday morning after a hard frost.
Lovely frosty image Ed love the comp and dof - Ina
Almost a natural mono, nature drained of colour. Sums up January perfectly.
What a wonderful natural archway, Ed, a lovely image. Carol
WOW light at the end of the tunnel fabulous capture
" Fairy tales can come true " A wonderful arch of frosty magic xx
Love the light and color/lack of color here! as well as the comp!
I think you have another image here-- perhaps a crop to exclude the sky--placing all the emphasis on the end of the tunnel!--
Fine shot Ed but I find the path/road just a touch too central. I would like to have seen the start of the road coming from either left or right and finishing more or less central. Might have tried to get the figure just a yard or two closer.
Hope you dont mind the comments and of course they are purely personal and not criticism.
Another very fine image, Ed: I have read Ron's ("Maiwand") comments, and they seem to make sense. Nevertheless, as it is, it is still a very acceptable shot and I do like the placing of the figure where it is against the bright sky at the end of the tunnel of trees.
A classic shot , nicely done Ed'.
Beautiful natural frosted arch, Ed, and the person adds to the atmosphere. Really like this.
good natural framing in the chilly shot, the dog walker gives added interest.
A hint of mystery, great
A top vista shot Ed, with the shadowy figure adding to the effect...Bill
Many thanks for all your comments and clicks, they are much appreciated, Ed

Blimey Ed you are getting ahead of yourself.
great shot and spot on with the person in the opening Ed, a brillian shot and good to make this the 30 vote
Yes that information did make me laugh, it must be something to do with the teething problems associated with the new system, when I last viewed your portfolio you had 2 copys of every photograph you'd uploaded on the front page!

You are right Ed - those duplicates keep coming and going at their leisure.
Excellent fine frosty details and the walkers topping it off (if only the dog had co-operated and been a little more central to the path)
