A male chalkhill blue butterfly hanging on to a grass stalk and being buffeted by the wind at Swelshill Bank near Stroud, taken a couple of weeks ago on a a visit there with fellow epzer "Looloobey", Louise. I think she's uploaded a shot of this little fella before, he was the first one we spotted on the day. No doubt he'll be hanging on again today when the storms that are coming up from Cornwall and Devon reach us, strong winds and heavy rain is forecast! Yes folks the Great British summer is back with a vengeance!
