This is pretty good but I just thought it needed a slight lift.
I used "Auto tone" then sharpened it slightly (USM 50%, 1px, radius 5).
Hope it's OK.


Edit: Sorry, I should have said I was using CS5.

At first sight, this is very good - composition, depth and colour. It does need lightening a bit and it needs to be a little sharper. Using a 70/300 is not the ideal tool for such images, so you have done extremely well to get it this sharp in what was probably subdued lighting.

Bren's version is superior, particularly as it isolates the subject from the background

yeh I was quite suprised how well some of the shots came out with this lens. Not really done much close up photography and cant really justify spending alot on a dedicated macro lens although I may look into some extension tubes in the near future.

I didnt do any post post processing with this shot either or I would end up tweeking all 400 shots I took Smile
