Harbour Lights

By Paul_cats
Had the new camera for a week and decided to venture away from cats and try my hand at some scenes. This is my first attempt at scenic shots so any feedback greatly appreciated. Taken using the night photography feature on the Fuji.

Hi Paul

I would say that the exposer is just about right, the problem is that there is nothing to draw your eye into the scene. Try getting closer to the water and using a boat/building etc as your focal subject whilst keeping the twilight sky in the scene.

Hopes this helps.

Coo... don't start with the easy stuff do you!!

As Smithy says, does need just one thing to draw your eye into the picture, but other than that, nice shot!

If this was my image I would have cropped off the bottom, to make the image into a panoramic, as I think this would have given it greater impact.
