Harbour Reflections 2

By Rende
I went back to the harbour with a tripod which made shooting more relaxing. It didn't solve all the low light problems though, because to get crisp reflections you still need a relatively short shutterspeed. Also, as I discovered after several frustrating attempts at getting a detail sharp, the boats are often moving slightly to an almost invisible current. Fortunately there were enough sharp ones to have made the revisit worthwhile Smile
A big thank you to Brian for his much appreciated user award on Mirage !

The relative simplicity of the boat creates a wonderful balance for the complex reflections. As consistent as ever Rende.

Could only be yours, Rende, lovely depth of colour in the refelections and a well balanced composition again. I feel so much more in control with a tripod as well.

Fantastic water abstract Rende, the colours are amazing and after scrutiny of the reflection it looks as though it could only be Amsterdam? Your choice of what to include and exclude shows an expert eye, the comp feels well balanced and beautiful.

Perfect composition, as always. Lovely colour and reflections. A real air of stillness.
Definitely worth the effort, Rende.

Wobbly water or not, this is very lovely. The rich brick reflections make a fine counterpoint to the white hulls.

Lovely contrast between the colourful rippled water and the solid boat hull. Fine piece of work.

Classic. Rusty water, reality and illusion mixing it like fury. Pleased to make this 30, let's add a UA.

Superb capture Rende, such rich colour reflections..Lin
Beautiful browns and reds in the reflections on the left and the detail across the whole frame is wonderful.
The tripod does make a difference when the exposure lengthens.
