Harbour View

By twelvemegs
Many thanks for the votes and comments for my “Clovelly Cobbles” upload. I appreciate your time.

This is the first of a handful of purposely processed b&w images, which I will post separately over the coming days.

I am somewhat nervous about them, as I have honed the images from a straight b&w conversion, (which is a new territory for me) hopefully giving them something likable.

David

Excellent viewpoint for this precipitous scene, I feel as if I shouldn't lean over my keyboard as I could tumble down the cliff!

I don't think I have ever found anything to dislike about your b&w, David - this is really excellent.

Excellent depth and lots of texture. Works well in mono and a new view of the harbour (for me anyway).

B&W works just right. I like the hint of vignette, it focuses attention on the light on the water.
