Harold

Harold The Griffon Vulture

Taken at Eagle Heights Shoreham a few weeks ago. I thought I would 'have a play' with the image by giving it a different background as the original was very dull. I don't know if you like it, but your honest opininions would be very much appreciated on this occasion thanks. I have uploaded the original image in the mod section.

Very nice. To be picky, I would say give the light playing on the bottom feathers the same colour as the new background light, and parhaps blur the outline by one or two pixels for a better blend. However, this is terrific. Smile

I agree with "Picky Nev" Smile Fran.- I could see this as a book cover or advertising poster, its got real impact

(On second thought, maybe he should be called "Gordon", circling over our pension funds! Smile )

Thanks everyone for your comments at clicks. Much appreciated.

Nev & Brian, I did actually blur the edges to blend him in, but maybe not enough? Also I left those feathers white, 'cos that's how they were. Your comments have been taken onboard, thanks.

Like your title better than mine Brian lol.

This background gives the photo a stronger look, the original isn't bad too, but the manipulated is in my opinion better. I wouldn't have guessed it was manipulated so very well done!

Quite right Fran the new sky makes the image, although the bird in question is so well caught and defined.
Makes me realise how badly I need PS.
Not heard of this place in Shoreham...would you recommend it?
