Harry hornet

By frogs123
Taken in the Summer this hornet was attracted by the fig tree.( Which Dave Hobbit gave me 7 years ago) I have grown it into a standard fig tree and it attracts not only wasps but butterflies and birds to eat the fruit. I do not get much of a look in on eating the fruit. Happy to share with the wildlife. The hornet is on the back of a seat just a foot away from the fig tree.

A very good macro, Debs.
I've never found hornets to be a problem if there is ripe fruit for them.
Might be different if one sat on them.
