Harvest Time!

By JimV
Do you remember the potato plant flower? Well I dug that plant up on Monday and this is what it yielded. You may also recall that what I did was cut two store bought potatoes in half and stuck them in the ground to see if they'd grow, three took so I still have another two to go. I didn't weigh them, but would guess about 1kg., or so (2-3lb.) They are delicious!
We've also been enjoying tomatoes for this past 5 to 6 weeks, so thought I'd show you some of them as well. They've been very accommodating this year as they haven't all come in a rush, but just a steady supply each week that we can cope with, if this keeps up until the first frost that will be great!

Many thanks for your support of 'New Glasgow' and all other uploads, very much appreciated!
