Yet another image taken at our friend's open garden event last Sunday. I found this haven of tranquility at the bottom of her garden near to a little stream. I am uploading two versions, this one has added texture and V2 is as taken. I know that opinions may be divided as to preference - I personally prefer V1.

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last upload and I hope you have all had a great weekend.

Both excellent but v1 for me your processing creates more atmosphere.

A neglected little corner made more so by your processing
but I like V2 best .

Both good, but I think that V1 looks like something out of a spooky film. Atmospheric in a supernatural sort of way - that is the best way I can think of to describe how it appears to me. Really like it. All that waffle to say that lol. Moira

A lovely secluded corner of the garden in which to while away some time: somehow the texturing in V1 suits the subject so well, Carol.

Think I like V1 the best because it gives a feeling of mystery and a hidden away from it all effect. paul

I like V2 with the lush light leaves on the left and the tree on the right framing the image.

It's a nice shot which ever is your preference... I like V1 as it seems to add some mystique to the scene.

I like the original V1 as the darkness of the corners make it look a bit sinister rather then the tranquility of your description, so V2 for me Smile

Definitely V1 for me, Carol - think the eye is drawn to the bright green foliage in V2, whereas in V1 the colours are evened out more, and the texture really suits the subject Smile

The manip in V1 is good, Carol, but I'm a fan of V2 Smile

But V1 or V2, what draws my attention to this scene are those gorgeous ferns at the bottom SmileSmile
