No this is not IR. It's just an ordinary colour image that I started to convert to b&w. I then thought I wanted something different. So I inverted the image and adjusted for that.
I liked the way it gave that IR look and the detail it brought out. As this was the first try with the idea I'm sure there is a lot more that can be done.
One of the things I love about photography is your always learning.
I'm sure the last words when they screw down the lid will be "hold on I've got another idea"...
