hawker hurricane mk1

By amos_cmos
This aircraft was purchased from an Indian Engineering College, by Peter Vacher for renovation. It took 3 years to restore to flying condition and is shown displaying at Hucknall Airfield. It is the only flying hurricane left that took part in the Battle of Britain.

I think i heard it cost him 5m to get it into the air....but Hell it's areal bit of history.
Beautifully taken but when i look at it large size there,s this opaqoe mottled green border that looks like sellotape's been pulled off all the way round. I,d love to see this re-uploaded without the border.

Guy - yes I agree about the border, any ideas how to upload without losing the comments etc?.
Cheers.

Guy is correct but I wouldn't let it detract to much from the image...Just enough blur on the prop to convey the movement
