HAWKLORDS LIVE!

By UrbaneMagick

Good morning folks, I have a day off work today, as got in at silly o'clock this morning from the fabulous HAWKLORDS gig .

Hawklords consist of all ex-members of Hawkwind, and have always been a great Hawkwind tribute band.
However, they have recently released a new album "we are one" & have taken their own direction, which would best be described as space punk rock as opposed to Hawkwind who play solely Space Rock!

In honesty, I;d say that this is the best gig I;ve attended this year.

The guy in the photo is JERRY RICHARDS, lead guitarist & producer.
..he should be in my bad books, as I was meant to be on the guest list last night, but he forgot to put me on ...gggggrrrrrrr!
..but I'll let him off..as I;'m a daft fan :-p

This is the colour popped version..I'll add as variants the colour version and all other relevants photos from the evening...again. very dark, camera with its maximum 800 iso & being from the ark, hardly coped.

Anyway, got to catch up on some zeds later & also pick up little man from the inlaws later this morning, so must be off.

I've put the youtube link up to one of their new songs, have a click...you never know Smile

Have a great Monday,
Gareth.

Looks like you had lots of fun, I have to be honest Gareth never heard of Hawklords, probably because I am not into music these days, being nearly deaf, all music sounds pretty terrible. V4 is my favourite it is so flashy and just feels so right ... and no more chilli escapades eh! Tongue ... Carol GrinGrinGrin
