I think because you have made this image so pale, it has lost all its depth, and the background bleeds into the foreground. Try it again.

I agree with Collywobles. What software are you using to manipulate this photo. Re-post a new version. Keep them coming Matt...

im useing photomatix but everytime i seem to try to do something with it and ill get it looking right and click to process it seems to alter it so im not sure what i need to do.

Download this file on this site below. there are 80 presets for photomatix. Find photomatix on your c.drive open folder look for presets folder inside photomatix then open your downloaded folder and highlight all the presets and drag them across into your photomatix preset folder.Job done. Any problems let me know. if you get it to work let me know..
