He spotted his breakfast.

Thanks to Jeff, Cliff & Dave for their comments and votes and to al you others who voted yesterday and on catch-ups.
Just caught this what I think is a Kestrel taking off from the post when it spotted something in the long grass on the other side f the fence about 50m away, whilst walking the Seven Sisters last week. As usual I had the WRONG lens with me, but I was travelling light on my 6 mile hike.

Excellent image, wrong lens or not. BTW I nowadays use a Tamron 16-300mm. lens which is hardly ever the wrong one. It is rarely off the camera.
