Head on

An archived shot captured last December while on a birding sortie at Salina nature reserve.

Managed a good lockon on this Mallard and fired away as it whizzed past me with incredible speed ..... one of the most challenging shots in birds in flight photography. Quite pleased with this head on capture ..... a critical test for the camera/lens speed performance.
