...taken this afternoon at the North end of Loch Lomond, Scotland. Bitterly cold despite the wonderfully warm light, mistaken for a farmer yet again by the cattle, eager for winter feed.

***Wishing you "All a very Happy Christmas", take care out there.

Looks like autumn colours at first, another well captured landscape shot of this area Dougie.

Merry xmas
best wishes

A superb up to the date shot, Dougie: the light on the far shore, it's reflection and the silhouetted trees all add up to such a beautiful image.
Merry Christmas to you...hope you have a lovely day tomorrow.

Lovely colour in this wintry landscape.
Have a Happy Christmas, all the best.

Laughed at the idea of you being mistaken for a farmer Smile Looks as though it paid off here Smile

Lovely colours, Dougie, and hope you have a really good Christmas.

Sue Smile

It may be cold but there is some lovely light around at the moment as you shown here, Dougie. All good wishes for Xmas.

Sue Coo's hear a diesel engine and think of food, that's my farming connection.

Another great shot Dougie, with lovely warm (Autumn ?) tones !....I reckon it's your hat thats attracting the cows !....I had a similar experience on a Pembrokeshire coast-path....walking past a herd of cows, the one decided to stamp it's feet at me !!, but when I took my hat off, it stopped ?, only to repeat the behaviour when I put it back on !....I didn't hang around too long, the bugger was bigger than me, & could run faster.....made my wife laugh though !! Merry Christmas...

It's a bloody good job the bull didn't mistake you for a cow.
Happy Christmas Dougie and here's wishing you everything you would wish yourself. Take care my fried and keep producing the goods as good as this one.

great shot I love this one - have to laff at Dannys' comment (good job the bull didn't mistake you for a cow) Smile thanks for your help that last three months or so - appreciated Smile
have a good day tomorrow

Hi, Dougie, a Merry Christmas and enjoy the New Year with a good share of Health and Happiness.

In a hurry Wink MikeA.

A fine capture Dougie, do like the autumn winter tones. The cows certainly look very expectant.
Have a good Christmas and all the best for 2011.
Regards Richard

A great scenery, Merry Christmas to you

This photo has a lovely glow and reflections. There's the cattle that should have been in the previous photo! Hope your Christmas day was upto the mark!

Don't look to be much snow in that area Dougie? Has someone mentions above has a feel of autumn to it...nice light.

A great composition, the cottage on the other side of the water, the reflection, the trees and coos... wonderful!
