Nice capture, not the normal shot I would expect to see inthis area and like the fact I can still tell where it is.
Was rather a mixed week here, rather muggy at times.

this is excellent paul, superb processing.
we go to ambleside on monday for a week, fingers crossed for some good sunrises, sunsets.

I rarely vote on images with other peoples kids in, because I always think that they are personal to the photographer (it doesn't really make sense that comment, but I'm sure you know what I mean) unless there is something to help it stand out, and I think your quality shows here, the scale in the background and the textures in the walkway, the way the little girl is walking with the stick (Is there a technical name for those things?) make for a very charming image.
Maybe a bit less sky would be good, but then do you lose the sense of scale?

(The techincal term for the "stick" is a walking or trekking pole)
