Headstone

By Anthony
Hi. Another from the very successful NW Meeting the other day.

This was shot RAW on my EOS 300D. Converted using Phase 1 then PS CS2. I love the Virtual Photographer plug in, and used it again here. I used the Moonlight settings, and increased the shadow detail to balance the light and dark out a bit.

Next I added a lighting effect, a single spotlight, using PS CS2, and then faded that to about 50%. Next I did a bit of dodging and burning in certain areas, and ended up with the image you see here.

Any and all comments are welcome, so thank you in advance.

Cheers.

Anthony

Nice effect. I've got a bit of a weakness for churchyards myself so I like the other shots on the same theme in your portfolio.

Virtual Photographer is a Photoshop plug in. Essentially its another filter that is added to the programme. Once its installed, you can then access the plug in, and apply specialist filters, like the one I used. Google it, and if you cant find it, I will see if I can e-mail it to you if you want? Contact me through my portfolio.

Hope this helps.

Is CS1 better RAW processing than PS CS2 then?
