Heaven Sent Findhorn

By hwatt
Findhorn, Moray, Scotland.

There are very few sights I enjoy more than seeing a vast curtain of sunlight dancing over a distant shoreline and glinting off a sparkling sea and it is something that happens remarkably often on the Moray coast. The sky was suitably dramatic which helped to show the light rays off to very good effect. I shot from the top of the dunes so that I could use the elevation to give some layering to the landscape.

I've been waiting for you to post a shot with a 50mp Fuji... A natural progression.

Am I right that this is the first shot you've posted from that Fuji? And does it mean your Pentax is retiring?

I have been fortunate to be offered one to try out. For obvious reasons I have only recently had a chance to mess about with it a few times but I like it very much. The format suits my style. The big Pentax won’t be retiring quite yet.

All of that is good news...

I look forward to play resuming when conditions start returning to normal!
