Award Shortlist

Hello - Hi there - it's me!

By Disee
As always, many thanks for your lovely previous comments and awards.

Whilst my intention is to upload more frequently on here, somehow I haven't so may I blame the weather for that?

This is a bit of an oldie - 2018 - a series testing my Pentax Asahi Takumar 55mm lens fitted on my Canon 70D to see what I could get from it. Then I came across this child's glove found on the ground and placed atop the bench to be found again. I thought it made an amusing picture.

One of my favourite subjects, abandoned gloves. They seem so forlorn. Like a separated twin...

With the selective focus - it has a real feeling of being lost.
Some little girl has gone home and said "Mummy I've lost my glove - I really liked them".

Thank you Moira and Kate for commenting.

Yes it is very forlorn looking and often a single glove seen dropped along the way.

Kate the lens I used is such a beauty and creates lovely bokeh as well. As it is a "vintage" lens, I cannot recall what f/setting I had it on with a short DoF intended, it was only important for me to get the glove into focus.
I should go out and use these old lenses more often - they really are so rewarding.
