Hepworth sculpture 1

By James124
First in a series of my interpretation of sculptures in Barbara Hepworth’s garden at St.Ives. (I can’t remember the official titles of the pieces.) A fascinating space crammed with her work, some quite massive., and not too crowded during most of our visit.

Thanks for your votes and comments on Purple spring yesterday, much appreciated as always.

I went there last year James. It's an amazing place isn't it and so tucked away.

Nicely done James.
Shapes and textures well put together.
Bet someone thought 'why's he taking a picture of a hole'

Knew this had to be a Hepworth before I even saw your title, James! I never got to visit here when on my last holiday to St Ives, it was closed for renovation or something. So, I just have to settle for the Hepworth Gallery here in Wakefield - but it is only 1 km from home, and just down the road! 😃👍🏻

I love what I call ‘view through’ shots and this beautiful sculpture provided the perfect opportunity. Love the pagination too.
