Here be dragons

By mrswoolybill
The first of two uploads, from our lockdown walks. This is almost next door to the High School.
When I uploaded a foggy scene last Friday, Keith commented “As for the edge of the known world, you'll have to let google know so they can add 'here be dragons' to their maps”. And I already had this lined up for today...
Thanks for looking,

Must be a prop forward in the local rugby team judging by that cauliflower ear.

A fearsome looking beast. Great textures well suited to the mono treatment.

A figment of man's imagination or handed down memories of creatures that once existed?
Or: Beings that came from the sky who the people of the time could only explain by depicting them as having wings.
A fascinating subject and strange that only women are called; old dragons even by other women... Smile

Whatever your hairy thoughts, a very scary creature on which to shine a torch.

It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him..

He does not look too pleased with the World. He looks to have been in the wars. Cauliflower ear, black eye and a split lip! Good capture and presentation, Moira.

Now there is a creature to contend with. He certainly means business.

He's warding off the kids from the High School. Looking ready to rip their arms off if one touched him.

Yep, it was long enough to hide the cabbage ears. Thanks folks. This one's twin brother appears tomorrow.
