Occasional, the usually grim job of CSI photography can be creative. To illustrate an article by a local police chief in a law enforcement journal, I photographed a drop of heroin dripping from the end of a hypodermic needle. The syringe is held by a federal narcotics agent.

Very powerful image, I think the depth of field really helps with that along with the gritty mono presentation. nice work.

Conjures up all sorts of horrible images. We had someone admitted at work, she was an addict, said she would stay if we allowed to shoot up when she needed to. Ehhhh I think not. Refused to go to the drug problem centre! Moira

I can't believe they didn't fire her as soon as they found out, Moira!!

Another powerful image Aldo. It could have been just water though, which would have been safer. You can't tell the difference.

Even without knowing what's in the syringe, this is a very powerful image.
The grainy look and lack of colour really give this a lot of impact.

If your model had a grubbier hand with less manicured nails the image would have greater impact for me.

However, I like the shot, grain and mono production..
