Heron off home!

By Lillian
Heard this Heron before I saw him, swung camera up..hand held
this is what we have
...there were many of them in the Flamingo Park
in the Camargue. but was getting dark

What can I say but a huge Thank you to everyone who gave me their awards...thank you!

Now go take a look at the version I have put up so you can see the original photo...last image of stallions..
would you have still given your award I wonder?..maybe you would be feeling proud with me as I am
that I managed to do that!

Nice in flight capture. I love the way that their legs dangle behind them in flight.

Brilliant shot Lillian and wow I am amazed that you did all that. Did it take long? Looks like it might be raining on Sunday but so looking forward to it. Cathy

I had a look at your original version and all I can say is you grabbed every bit of detail and light into your rework, but in know way did you change the atmosphere of the shot from the camera............that is what I call quality processing. Well done Lillian.

The heron in flight is very nice, Lillian, love the angle and the dangly feet.

I had a look at your previous V2 and can only say well done, and it was certainly worth the effort.

A big wing span to get in shot, in flight - tried my hand at birds of prey at the weekend, got some fantastic shots of the blue sky with just a wing tip in viewSad
A quick reaction on your part getting such a super shot.
