Hickory Tussock Moth

By Joline
Lophocampa caryae, the dreaded white wooly caterpillar that is so troublesome that notices have been posted in schools so the children will know not to touch it. The prickly spines cause a skin rash in many people, and the barbed ends can cause serious medical problems if transferred to the eye.....they also bite!!!!!

A very pretty caterpillar, but your information tells me that it is a wolf in a sheepskin !
Well composed and perfect light
