High Flying Flag

I took my best girlfriend and her daughter to the park in my hometown for some portrait shots. Being a baby, her daughter was too cranky for a shoot, so we decided to reschedule. Fortunately, the wind was blowing, as always, and the day was blue and clear, making for a great opportunity to photograph our American Flag! This sign of freedom, pride, and unity may not have been around forever, but it is a symbol of all we stand for, here in America. Land of the free. Home of the brave! God bless America!!!

Hi Rachael, Welcome to EPZ, its a great site and although I have been taking photographs for about 50 years I have learned such a lot from the members here on EPZ. I feel my photography has improved since I joined three years ago. The colours are rather saturated but I like the shot. It is almost the same as one I took in Hawaii over the USS Arizona memorial on holiday some years ago but I have somehow unfortunately lost the image from my computer.
I wish you all the luck in the world with your wish list for the future.
