High Key - whale eye

By Sus
Another attempt at high key portraiture - thanks to tips on my previous attempt. Still struggling with pointing one light at the background (working in a very tight space. But this was better. I used screen layers to white out much of the background, then some dodging and painting. There are some shadows around the body, difficult to know what to do with them, so I left some in.

The whale eye refers to the white eye - a sign of anxiety, in this case probably extreme p&&sd offness as I shoved two speedlites in his face! What are you doing to me!

I think you have done a great job on the lighting, my dog won't keep still even when he's asleep.

ps I left the aperture wide so the back of the body is out of focus because a) much easier to get enough light and b) i quite like the effect it gives, rather than sharp all the way through.
