High Tide......

By Niknut
Derwentwater in Cumbria, with a very high water levels.....the lakeside paths were mostly under water.....the usual shore-line
in my shot is about 30 to 40 feet beyond this old tree stump !!!.....there's a couple of similar shots already in my portfolio
which shows the usual scene !!......still made for an interesting shot though, with the heavy cloud hinting at more rain, but
mercifully it held off long enough to enjoy the walk !.Grin

Not much photography for me lately, with the wintery weather subduing any enthusiasm I've got !......roll on Spring !!!!!!!.GrinGrin

The portrait crop works very well with this beautifully framed image, Keith.

When Nature decides something, there's only one thing for us to do...accept it and admit we are powerless.

I like your composition here, Keith. That stump could work as a rod rest!
