Picton Ferry is at the confluence of the eastern and western Cleddau rivers. Down stream, they become the Cleddau that eventually passes Milford haven to meet the sea at St. Anne's Head.
The Daugleddau estuary is a ria, IE, a flooded river valley. The valley was formed by the rivers, but has since flooded through rising sea levels, evidence that we have been coming out of an Ice Age for many years.
Twenty minutes after sunrise. Snow on the trees. Taken about 30 minutes after high tide.
