Higher GreenCoal Mine

By ElegancePhotography
Taken at Higher Green, near Atherton, Lancs. I noticed the structure while driving on the East Lancs and thought I have a look. When I got there I found they are creating a museum and work is still under way so it will be well worth a visit when finish. The staff were very helpful and allowed me to wonder round freely.

Cracking shot! Composition and lighting are spot on.

Blurs your eyes a bit looking at the steelwork and I like the lead into the shot.

White balance looks far too warm to me and you need to address the dust spots on your sensor.

Absolutely brilliant treatment, like the perspective and sense of dizziness while looking up!

very strong image, tracks lead in well with great light on them and it kind of tells a story. i think it deserves more clicks than its getting at the moment., exceptional work.
