Highland Panorama

By RonnieAG
A panorama from 3 images stitched together, taken from the summit of Mam Carragh and looking across Loch Tulla to the mountains of the Black Mount and those SW of Rannoch Moor.
Peaks shown from left include Ben Starav, Stob Coir'an Albannaich, Stob Ghabhar and Beinn Toaig.
The West Highland Way leads down to Inveroran on the lochside and Black Mount Lodge appears on the far shore extreme right.
The parallel lines on Beinn Toiag (beyond the loch) are an interesting geological feature ......... parallel ancient shore lines on the hillside.

My thanks to all who took time to comment on Under The Bridge.

A very impressive rugged landscape that you have done great justice, the panorama gives a nice wide view that would have been lost in a single image. - gary

Lovely perspective, Ronnie, with the tops and valley leading you gently down the valley. There's something of interest all the way across - the lake, the track, the smoke.. A fine stitched panorama. Your mention of the shore lines brings back memories of studying 'raised beaches' on geography field trips Grin

This vast vista fully deserves the exellent sewing you have done, Ronnie. What a magnificent result of combining images this is. You feel that you could almost step straight into the image.
The combination of the autumnal brown bracken and the icing sugar topped mountains is a fabulous contrast. Like the added detail of the rising smoke, far left.

The snow on the tops makes all the difference Ronnie, you had a good trip up here by the looks. Maybe you'll venture again when you realise how easy it is to get here.
Sorry I've been missing just lost the heart for all the time it can take on here to do it justice, you know the feeling.
