Many thanks to ePHOTOzine for choosing my surreal long exposure for the POTW, a real honour looking at all the superb images that are uploaded every day.

Anyway, here's my latest image from last night's outing with my brother. This was plan B, plan A didnt work as the tide hight was too high so the image I had in mind will have to wait another day.

This is at Hightown just north of Crosby were Gormleys iron men are situated. these mud banks are amazing and help with great foreground interest along with the inlet full of gushing seawater flowing up it as the tide was steadily rising. A great test for my new camera which was replaced after I killed the Mk3.

Nice shot Phil,the mud banks are quite surreal and lovely detail.
