Hinyai and Hinta (Grandfather and Grandmother)

By ColleenA
Good day...
Thank you for your continued support....and a big thank you to Patty (Pentaxpatty), Isabel (Chinga) and Adrian (Ade123) for their UA's, much appreciated
The last of my Ko Samui images for now as I will move onto Cambodia tomorrow.
These are two rock formations situated along one of the many beautiful beaches in Ko Samui...known as Hinta and Hinyai or Grandmother and Grandfather...the leading image is the Grandmother rock and the second version the Grandfather
Have a great day...we have docked in Chan May Vietnam and it is raining....grrr

I know a place very much like that [ V2 ], on Quadra Island just off Campbell River, Vancouver Island. An ideal secluded pool. No life-ring though. Yours is better. No driftwood and seaweed. V2 = a tiny paradise. TG

Hi Colleen. These are two very beautiful images! Have you seen any wild orchids yet? Cambodia and the places surrounding it are renowned for them. A particular species to keep an eye out for are the Phragmepaediums, or slipper orchids, which are terrestrial. Have a wonderful time. Regards Martin.

Two amazing and very photogenic rocks formations from your whistle stop tour.
Don't know how you manage to pack and unpack and rush around to see what you can.
I'd never catch up with myself!
Did you see any water lilies in Vietnam?
