Thanks Ray - Earl Sterndale. Easy to get to. Take the footpath at the side of the quiet woman pub and just follow it.

I park outside the church across the road. Look at the pub, there's a path to your right which feels like you're going through someones back yard. Loads of gates in quick succession. Sort of go through the fields, through the gaps in the drystone walls. You'll know you're roughly on the right track because the hills stare you in the face.

You can approach them from Glutton Bridge but I would much prefer Hollinsclough because there's ample parking where as Glutton Bridge is almost non-existant. Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill are the two hills in this photo and very much worth the walk up!
