I have no idea how to write the sound that I am trying to suggest but hopefully you can fathom it out based on the little critter's 'expression' as he sniffs the air for interesting scents.
The guy that tutored me regarding 'wildlife' photography some years ago always impressed upon folk the need to have the subject's eyes in critical focus. Obviously that is a tad more difficult when they are shut but I think this works anyway.
If you are tuning in for the first time then please note that all comments etc are more than welcome and, in this instance, this is a captive subject. It is my belief that any Harvest Mouse worth keeping and showing to anyone will always be captive - I just don't attempt to hide the fact.
