HMS Illustrious

This is the Helicopter and Commando Carrier, HMS Illustrious at dock in Portsmouth.
She has just returned to the Fleet after a 16 month, £40,000,000 refit/upgrade and will continue to serve the Royal Navy until 2014 when HMS Ocean, currently having a refit, returns to the Fleet; she will then be decomissioned.

the contrast between the ships clear edges and structure and the soft clouds is amazing.
the effect is positively dramatic, well done

Thank you. This was the first time I'd taken my new X100 out and I was impressed with it; even if it is a fixed lens.
