An awesome set of natural history images Ade, the first three are mightily impressive and could all be uploaded in their own right. The detail and clarity is astounding and the colours are glorious. It looks like you had a very productive day spent with Sue down on the levels. It's very wet in the countryside close to home and is beginning to resemble the levels more each day, it will be like home from home when you do eventually get up here to photograph the butterflies and moths!
The weather has reverted to type and is pants again, so no doubt the only superb session you'll be having in the foreseeable future will be in the Barley Mow and Apple Tree in Bedminster when copious amounts of local scrumpy will be downed!

No Jenn, this was taken using my ever old faithful Tamron 90mm SP Di Macro mounted on a tripod using mirror lock up. Had it about 8 years now and it's still as sharp as the day I bought it!.........Very under-rated piece of kit, which if used correctly is as sharp as anything on the market.
