Hoi An market

By Karuma1970
This is cropped down from a panorama which is at least twice as wide as this. I didn't think it would show up as well in this format because although it is interesting right across the picture you really need to be able to zoom in on what is going on at different points.
The market is on the riverside and I got this by taking quite a long diversion to an island in the river which faces it. I took four photos and stitched them together.
There may be places in Vietnam where you can photograph nature and birdlife but they don't seem easy to get to. I suppose Hoi An is a bit touristy but it is great fun and with G&Ts at under one pound ...

Thanks to Alan and Debs for your appreciation of my heron getting his dinner.

What a wonderful market scene. A lot going on as should be in a market. Very close to the waters edge. Is that floating box rubbish or has one of the stall holders lost it over the edge? Debs

I love to get into these markets. I can smell the fish in this one. Well documented! Interesting the crates floating around in the water.
