Holly 3rd attempt

By CathyT
First...thanks to everyone who viewed and commented on yesterdays uploads....I just wasn't happy with the pic, hopefully I have addressed the problems.
Taken advice from Stix and Keith.
This is the third attempt, moniter now calibrated so I feel a bit happier about this one.

I've uploaded the previous attempts as mods so you can see the changes. Also Stix mod he very kindly did for me..thanks Martin.

Thanks for looking..

Thanks Chris.

I'd deleted the start up file (by mistake) for my Spyder, the moniter hadn't been calibrated since Xmas..... :0(

Excellent Cathy. Another great exposure. Beautifull eyes.

I need to invest in a calibration system myself, recently been viewing images on five differnet systems. I can't believe how different they appear.

Very nice. Lovely portrait and crop.
I'm having the same calibration problems. Images appear too light, too dark, too green, too red... Although the easiest way to tell is once I've had them printed! Ah well.
I love a lot of your portfolio stuff too, great portraits.

That's better.
The big hair, expression and purple background, remind me of an old oil painting.

Oh its a shawl! I thought it was a sofa!,like a chaise.
Your right there's not enough blue to be purple, but there's not enough red to be crimson. Anyway its a rich colour!

I like her eyes Cathy,beautifully blue!Great hair.
I'm not too sure about the shawl thing though,it looks a bit awkward to me.The colours look better here than in the ones you posted in the mods section.

I just saw the last one now, and this is much better. There are no distractions and the mood is better somehow. Still high quality with good light.
