Hollyhock survivors

By HobbitDave
The last of my neighbours Hollyhocks, having survived much rain and wind the last 24 hours. Tough flowers!
In the lead image at the back you can see home-grown onions hanging on the garden shed, content in all weathers.

Many thanks to Bill and Carole for their kind awards on Winston the kitten yesterday, he sends many thanks, and for all the comments.

I'll have a pound (or should it be 0.45 kg?) of your onions please, Dave! 🧅🧅😁 Very beautiful flowers, with excellent detail captured, and looking good especially after all the cr*p weather we've been having 👍

Nice shots of these remaining blooms, Dave: we had some some ones in the garden this summer but the leaves were all covered in rust despite all attempts to conquer it, so they did not lend themselves to photography..

How---exactly ----does one determine a pound of something like onions?

Oh--and the. pink flowers, so highly detailed-- lovely despite the rain and wind! I cannot get them to grow at al! Most pleasing images!
